The second Q-collect workshop was organized to present the main findings of the Q-collect European project to its stakeholders (i.e. representatives of collections and Heads of national plant protection laboratories within the EPPO region).

The third meeting of the Q-Collect project was held in EPPO Headquarters in Paris.
The overall goal of the meeting was to discuss in details the results of the two questionnaires organised to map European collections and their end-users after the decision to re-open the questionnaires and harvest information from collections previously unable to answer. General discussions on the project goals were also held.

The first workshop presented the preliminary plans toward a sustainable collaboration, coordination for the maintenance of transnational reference collections and databases.
It was organized in Kleinmachnow (DE) on 2014-11-27/28.

The first Q-collect meeting took place in Leiden (NL) on 2013-12-02. All Q-collect partners were present.
All partners were reminded of their role in the project and to recall the main project objectives.
The Q-collect leaflet was presented and approved as well as the logo for the project.
All workpackage leaders presented their work plans for the next months.
A brainstorming session was organized to determine the main subjects that should be covered in the questionnaire for collections. The questionnaire is expected to be launched in March 2014 so that the first analysis of results can be carried out before summer. The questionnaire will be made available on the Q-collect website.
